Cigar Lei

The Cigar lei is made from the tube like flowers of the Cuphea Ignia shrub which are fiery red and orange in color. Each tiny tube is ringed with grey, then white at the tip, like a miniature burning cigar. The Cigar lei is long-lasting and a marvel of the lei maker’s work. These leis are strung in intricate patterns that resemble fine Indian beadwork. This design won the “Most beautiful Lei” in 1928. Available in RED or ORANGE. Please choose color below.

Rope Bozu Lei

The main use for bozu in Hawaii is as a lei flower and the lei made from them is called a lei hua (ball lei). The flowers can be strung one after the other in a single strand for a simple lei, or multiple strands can be braided together to make a more intricate lei. The nice thing about bozu lei is that they are everlasting. The Rope Bozu Lei is made of hundreds of flowers, which are strung, crosswise through each stem and layered flower upon flower. With careful color selection and craftsmanship, a spiral and colorful pattern is produced. You may choose from purple or our "sunset" pattern.
